We are looking for legal advisor to enable the sustainable growth of the Nike brand, which has demonstrated remarkable growth and valuable business in Korea, a dynamic market with the most trendy consumers.
WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?
As Legal Manager, you will be a member of Nike Korea Legal team, reporting to Legal Director. You will counsel and work closely with business team members within Nike on a wide range of commercial deals and legal issues, including general corporate matters, regulatory and compliance issues. And collaborating with global counsels for each subject matter will be primary part that this position shall keep in track.
*Providing professional legal services in line with the company's new commercial/digital strategy
*Provide accurate legal advice and manage risks associated with direct and wholesale business tailored to changing market conditions
*Actively contribute to all aspects of transaction, strategy, governance and compliance of digital commerce
*Provide contract review and corresponding legal counselling for procurement and various type of contracts
*Provide proactive and solution-oriented legal advice and guidance to colleagues in regional business sectors and corporate functions
*Manage contentious matters including the proactive handling and resolution of complaints, disputes, and litigation
*Develop, promulgate and oversee the proper implementation of relevant compliance policies, processes and related matters. Familiarity with applicable anti-bribery, anti-competition, and data protection laws is essential
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will be working with various business clients in the Legal Team of Nike Korea. You will be closely connecting with almost every functions of business leaders and will also work with Converse Korea and the Busan Partner Management Office. Of course, as a multinational corporation, you will work closely with professional lawyers in each area(COE) who work in the global headquarters' legal department(CAO).
*Minimum 6 years' experiences in a related field
*PQE(Post-Qualified Experience) from in-house or law firms; Korean/Overseas legal qualification as an advantage
*Strong communication, cross-cultural interaction and high passion of harmonization in the team
*Prior experience in handling retail/digital matters as an advantage
*Flexible on background, experience of sporting goods industry is not required
*Attention to details, ability to work independently and do multi-tasking
*Good written and spoken language skill of Korean and English
