Job description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • To drive the vertical sports speciality channel & Direct sales channel strategies for the best-in-class brand representation at on/offline doors with sustainable growth and deliver the required financial results.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy : To focus and own the overall strategy for the vertical sports specialty partners reflecting the global and market strategies. Work jointly with the WHS senior director & the Wholesale VP.
  • Market insight : To fully read and react by setting up the strategy by account to market situation with multiple partners based on global/local sporting moments.
  • Commercial : To ensure the best possible Net Sales result by setting clear targets and action points, managing the constant tracking of results with analysis of risks & new business opportunities.
  • Commercial : To take the full ownership of quarterly, seasonal, and annual OTB.
  • Commercial : To support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms.
  • Commercial : To measure progress on defined KPIs(SO growth, discount, inventory and etc.) and monitor all reports in good quality.
  • Sell out : To make our brand credible through the best-in-class Sell Out execution with partners to wow consumer.
  • People : To support and motivate the direct reports to best implement the account strategies.
  • Fully aware of sales policies, strategies, terms and conditions to grow the business with partners in line with the company's direction.
  • Run the regular report of market situation together with business status.
  • Regular meetings with customer to engage them, drive the strategies, solve current challenges and monitor competitors.
Key relationship:

  • Global: Global WHS
  • Market: Brands(AP, CP & marketing), WHS other functions, Finance, Logistics and etc.
  • External : WHS partners.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Innovative mindset and learning attitude for growth.
  • Strong insights and passion about Vertical sports : Football, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Running and etc.
  • High understanding of B2B business model.
  • High understanding of commercial channels ; mart.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken local language as well as English.
  • Product & marketing knowledge is plus.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business with marketing and sales focus.
  • Minimum 7~8 years of sales experience within large sales organizations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
  • At least 3 years' experience of people and operational management.
  • IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills
